Atari

You will be hard-pressed to find a schematic that is more readable than those by Atari.

Space Race (1973) Atari Space Race, REV - F ETR First schematic I redrew...
Redrawn from the Space Race schematics on the Arcade Manual Archive. I did this for my cloning Space Race project.

RAMTEK

RAMTEK Schematics are perhaps the most disgusting out of every game manufacturer out there. Who comes up with signal names by throwing together random letters and numbers? It's madness...

Clean Sweep (1974) RAMTEK Clean Sweep, REV - D RAMTEK Clean Sweep, REV - D ETR Second schematic I redrew...
Redrawn from KESBACH1's Clean Sweep schematics.

As you can tell, I never finished the ETR version, and both of them have substantial errors. It just takes too long to redraw these.

In the original RAMTEK schematic, it was VERY difficult to tell if things were "1" "I" "l" or "0" "O", etc. so some signals will have those letters & numbers interspersed. The signal names on the ETR version were my guesses at what the circuits were trying to do. As you can tell, there are errors. I labeled one signal /256H instead of /256V, which is embarassing because it was on an output pin of a flip flop...

Both of these contain SIGNIFICANT errors.
